It was clearly demonstrated at the International Pet Conference just how innovative the start-up scene in the Austrian pet sector is. At the sector event taking place in Bologna in October, two young Austrian companies, Aniveri and Livin Farms, were nominated for the final poll in the PET worldwide Best Newcomer Award.

In the voting for the “Innovator of the Year 2022” accolade of Austrian start-up media platform Brutkasten, two founders of Austrian innovative enterprises in the pet sector have now made it to the last round. Katharina Unger, founder of Livin Farms, appears in the Sustainability category, while Michael Hurnaus, founder of Tractive and a speaker at the International Pet Conference, features in the Scale-ups category.

Anyone wishing to support these two innovative entrepreneurs can vote at https://brutkasten.com/innovator-of-the-year-2022-sustainability (Sustainability category) and https://brutkasten.com/innovator-of-the-year-2022-kategorie-scaleups (Scale-ups category).

Voting is open until 6 January 2023.
