Norbert Zajac has passed away

Norbert Zajac has passed away. The charismatic pet retailer, who would have been 68 on 27 December, died suddenly and unexpectedly on 13 December. His death has come as a major shock to the pet supplies business.

Zoo Zajac operates the world’s biggest pet store in Duisburg with a retail area of more than 13 500 m². Jutta Zajac will continue to run the company as managing partner, with Kathi Geven at her side as managing director. The company will continue in the way Norbert Zajac would have wished, said Kathi Geven, speaking to PET worldwide.

Apart from his wife Jutta, Norbert Zajac leaves two daughters and two grandchildren.
