Hornbach opens in Constanta

Yesterday, 28 September, the German home improvement chain Hornbach opened a new store in the Black Sea city of Constanta in Romania. The store has a total retail area of 20 000 m² as well as a 5 000 m² garden centre with aquatics and pet product departments.

It is the ninth Hornbach store in Romania and the first on the Black Sea. The company has reportedly invested over 32 mio euros in the site, construction and shopfitting. “Romania is now one of the countries in which we are growing fastest,” said Erich Harsch, board chairman of Hornbach Baumarkt AG.
