Symrise acquires Wing Pet Food

Symrise, a global supplier of fragrances, flavours, food, nutrition and cosmetic ingredients, has signed a purchase agreement for the 100 per cent acquisition of Wing Pet Food, a Chinese leader in pet food palatability enhancers. The latter's portfolio will extend Symrise's access to the Asia/Pacific region (APAC). The 2020 annual sales of Wing Pet Food, formerly known as Wing Biotech, amounted to around 25 mio euros.
Headquartered in Holzminden (Germany), Symrise AG utilised the recovery in trade in 2021 to continue its profitable growth and once more substantially increase sales and earnings. Group sales increased by 8.7 per cent in the reporting currency to 3.826 bn euros (2020: 3.520 bn euros).
