Overall responsibility for private label sales and the brand business at Seitz has been assumed by Bernd Holzhausen. The 50-year-old Holzhausen is an economics graduate and was latterly sales director at the spirits manufacturer Berentzen.
The new key account manager for Seitz's international private label business is Dirk Schneider, a 60-year-old business administration graduate. Among other things, he brings five years of management experience as sales director of Partner in Pet Food (PPF). He has recently been involved in building up the Tönnies subsidiary Petcura.
Cem-Tamer Ceylaner, a 33-year-old food technician and native of Bremen, is the new head of product development. He has moved to the company from Saturn Petcare, where he was a project leader in charge of developing new moist food products.
In the course of this year, the Seitz Group intends to recruit more specialists and managers, thereby significantly increasing the workforce, according to Max Graf Kerssenbrock, chairman of the Seitz executive board.
