Half of pet owners consider natural and organic pet foods to be safer than regular pet foods. This is one finding of Packaged Facts' new report on natural, organic and eco-friendly pet products in the US. Over half (51 per cent) of pet product purchasers feel that natural/organic pet foods are more nutritious than regular pet foods, and 71 per cent are willing to spend extra to ensure the wellness of their pets. The report recommends that marketers of national products offer greater transparency in ingredient content and sourcing.
