While sales of pet food products rose by 3.7 per cent compared with the first half of fiscal 2016 to $209.6 mio, the company increased sales of accessory products by 5.9 per cent to $169.9 mio.
However, Pets at Home's service offering - veterinary practices and grooming salons, which can now be found in 49 per cent of its superstores - yielded the biggest sales with an increase of 47.6 per cent to $61.9 mio.
