Zooplus on track for success

Zooplus recorded sales of € 208 million in the first quarter of this year, an increase of around 26 per cent over the same quarter in the previous year. The company reported good progress especially in its core segment of pet food. "Sales were increased by 31 per cent for sustained growth in the key food segment," said Cornelius Patt, board chairman at Zooplus AG.Zooplus is focusing entirely on sales growth in later quarters of the year also. It is targeting sales of at least € 875 mio, according to Patt. This would equate to an increase of 23 per cent compared with 2015.
