Jardiland tests out a new concept

The French garden centre group seeks greater proximity to the customer, according to a report in the PetMarket Magazine publication.

The French garden centre chain Jardiland increased its revenue from franchise operations in 2014 by 2.8 per cent to € 376 mio compared with the previous year. This was reported in the French publication PetMarket Magazine. The external turnover of the 200 or so stores is put at € 744.7 mio.
According to the report, three new stores are to open this year. Jardiland recently began testing a new concept in two pilot stores that is intended to increase proximity to the customer. Among other things the chain plans to introduce new services in the pet segment, including a grooming salon and a washing facility for dogs.
