US chain to expand

Pet Supplies Plus, the nation’s largest pet retail franchise with more than 300 locations in 25 states, has announced that it has signed six new franchise agreements to bring its neighbourhood pet store concept to Boca Raton, Florida; Tampa, Florida; Stephenville, Texas; Elizabethtown, Kentucky; Hartland, Michigan and Greenville, South Carolina.The announcement comes on the heels of a strong 2014 in which Pet Supplies Plus opened a total of 10 franchise and 20 corporate stores, while inking deals with 17 new franchisees for continued momentum throughout 2015.The chain is on track to open a total of 25 franchise stores over the next twelve months and company executives anticipate adding more than 200 new stores over the next five years.
