Kemin names new president of pet food ingredient division

The US-based company Kemin has announced the appointment of David Raveyre as president of the company’s pet food ingredient division. Raveyre will operate under the leadership of Giuseppe Abrate, president of Kemin’s food and human groups. In his role, Raveyre will assume responsibility for worldwide operations of the pet food ingredient division, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, according to Kemin.
Prior to joining Kemin, Raveyre served as vice-president of supply for Royal Canin, North America. While at Royal Canin, Raveyre managed the operations of one wet pet food factory and two dry pet food factories located in the United States and Canada. Additionally, he previously served as vice-president of global procurement, director of global procurement and raw materials purchasing manager at Royal Canin.
