CIPS organisers expect the show in November to attract 1 000 exhibitors and over 40 000 visitors

The New China International Exhibition Center in Beijing is the place to find everything for pets from 17 to 20 November. This is where the 18th China International Pet Show (CIPS) is being staged, and it promises to be a record turnout, with over 650 companies having already booked their place. 1 000 exhibitors are expected to attend this year’s show, occupying around 78 000 m2 of exhibition area. The organisers are expecting to welcome over 40 000 visitors. Since many exhibitors have opted for bigger stands and an even greater number were on the waiting list, the organisers decided to open a further hall, hall W3. This means that the 2014 fair will extend to six exhibition halls in Beijing for the first time. The fair is organised jointly by the China Great Wall International Exhibition Company and NürnbergMesse. Asia’s biggest pet products show will also feature an extensive accompanying programme. The China Pet Industry Summit on the first two days of the fair will consider the changes in the Asian pet supplies industry and its prospects for the future. In the pet care field, the latest trends will be premiered at the Pet Grooming Worldcup, while the China Aquatic Plant Masters will be devoted to the art of aquascaping.
