Jardiland sold to investor L-Gam

French garden centre chain operates over 200 stores in six countries

A spokesperson has confirmed reports indicating that the French garden centre chain Jardiland has been sold to the financial investor L-Gam. The retailer has the two brands Jardiland and L’esprit Jardiland. Of the 203 stores operated in total, 187 are in France, nine in Spain, three in Belgium, two are in French overseas territories and one in Switzerland and Portugal respectively. L-Gam was only established in October 2013 by Ferdinando Grimaldi, Yves Alexandre and Felipe Merry del Val. The London-based investment company has links with the Princely Family of Liechtenstein.
