Two awards to H.H. Backer

The US pet industry show organiser H.H. Backer Associates was recognized for the outstanding work done on its fall trade show, Total Pet Expo. The company recently rebranded and redesigned the show and added a number of new attendee and exhibitor features. Colette Fairchild, the show’s director, received the Show Manager of the Year award at the Trade Show News Network/The Expo Group Awards in Reno on 2 November. The awards organizer also donated $ 500 to Wounded Warrior on behalf of Fairchild. Moreover, H.H. Backer Associates received “The Art of the Show” award for best website promotion from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE). The IAEE awards recognize top performances in both trade and public events in a number of categories. Backer’s 2014 spring show dates are 9-11 April in Atlantic City; the fall show will be held 19-21 September in Chicago (Rosemont).
