Positive results for Zooplus

Zooplus, Europe’s leading online supplier of pet products, increased its total operating income in the first six months of fiscal 2013 from € 152.3 mio in the previous year to € 198.8 mio. In the second quarter, the key indicator increased from € 78.8 mio to € 101.8 mio. These figures equate to an increase over the same periods in the previous year of 31 per cent and 29 per cent respectively. The company’s sales in the first six months rose from € 145.5 mio in 2012 to € 190.2 mio, while other income increased from € 6.8 mio to € 8.6 mio.
