Hill’s Pet Nutrition staying away from Interzoo

Company cites “growing internationalisation and dwindling number of European speciality retailers taking part” as the reason for its absence

Hill’s Pet Nutrition has joined the list of companies that will not have a stand at Interzoo 2014. In its press release, the company says that, due to the increasing internationalisation of Interzoo and diminishing participation of the European pet product trade, the outlay on showing at Interzoo is no longer proportionate to the return in meeting a large number of potential target groups in the European market at the show. Hill’s has decided not to exhibit at the show, therefore. It intends instead to invest the resources and budget earmarked previously for Interzoo in target group communication for customers and consumers.
