Panelis arrives in North America

The Panelis global network is now available in the United States in Hodges, South Carolina. This is an independent team of trained animal technicians, behaviourists and statisticians that observes and measures the consumption and enjoyment of pet food by its canine and feline expert panels and is part of the pet food division of the Diana Group. Because palatability is critical for a product to make it onto the store shelf, Panelis provides information to help pet food manufacturers make strategic decisions and add value to their brands, says the company.Located in Hodges, South Carolina alongside sister company SPF, which utilises Panelis’ services, Panelis North America joins Descalvado, Brazil and Elven, France as the third location in the group. The first cattery for the USA location was completed in 2011 and future plans include a second cattery and a kennels facility. With a qualified cat panel and state-of-the-art monitoring systems, Panelis North America is now offering cat palatability testing services for customers in the U.S. and Canada.
