Internationally recognised oral health body confirms their effectiveness in reducing plaque and tartar in dogs

It has now been officially confirmed by the VOHC (Veterinary Oral Health Council), an internationally recognised oral health body, that "Greenies" have been shown to help reduce plaque and tartar in dogs. The manufacturer of "Greenies", US company S&M Nutec, was awarded the VOHC Seal of Acceptance as a result. The VOHC verified the effect of "Greenies" on the basis of independent studies lasting 28 days and came to the conclusion that feeding dogs one "Greenies" treat per day reduced tartar by 62 per cent, gum inflammations by 33 per cent, staining by 77 per cent and bad breath by 31 per cent. And plaque formation was reduced by 14 per cent.
