Pet Fair South East Asia will hold its fifth edition from 28 to 30 October 2026 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC). The trade show is jointly organised by VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific and Globus Events, which also runs Pet Fair Asia in Shanghai and owns the Pet Fair Network of pet industry exhibitions across Asia. The organisers point to rising pet ownership and pet care spending across South East Asia, and to Bangkok’s air connectivity, as reasons for the location; senior project manager Johannes Kraus describes the show as an international meeting point rather than a purely regional one.
According to the organisers, 450 exhibitors from 40 countries are expected, covering the value chain from branded suppliers and private label manufacturing through to ingredients, packaging, machinery and technology. Around 30 per cent of exhibitors are forecast to come from Thailand and the wider region, the remaining 70 per cent from international markets. Country pavilions are planned for the United States, Italy, Spain, China, India, Japan and Thailand as well as further South East Asian markets. Exhibitors named so far include Sea Value, i-Tail, Thai Awesome, Absolute Nutrition and Kaniva from Thailand, Animonda and Gimborn from Germany and My Family from Italy.
By exhibitor type, the organisers put pet brands at 44 per cent of the show floor and OEM and private label manufacturers at 42 per cent, with ingredient, packaging and machinery suppliers making up the remainder. Pet food, treats and snacks account for the largest product categories, followed by hygiene and healthcare, accessories, grooming, toys, technology, furniture and apparel.
On the visitor side, the organisers expect 12,500 trade professionals from more than 80 countries. Admission is restricted to distributors, importers, wholesalers, retailers, private label buyers, manufacturers and veterinary practitioners. The 2025 edition drew visitors from 80 countries, with East Asia, Oceania, the Middle East, Europe and the United States represented alongside the South East Asian region.
The supporting programme comprises online and on-site matchmaking and a conference on two stages. Entry is free for visitors who register in advance; on-site registration costs THB 300 (around €8). Further details at www.petfair-sea.com.
