Under its Dog's Love brand name, the Austrian family company Petco offers a range of dry and moist food. The range includes Junior, Adult, Senior, Organic, Hypoallergenic, Dry and Raw Food Supplement lines along with some other products. Also forming part of the portfolio are the Cat's Love and Wow! brands.
Starting in May, Petco will present its Dog's Love treat assortment with a new design and two additional varieties. The popular Goodies Turkey and Goodies Beef products will be joined by Bites Poultry and Chips Poultry. "The four varieties of top organic quality will spoil dogs in a healthy way with a high proportion of meat and no additives," says company founder Katharina Miklauz. The new 150-gram pouches are reclosable to ensure that the treats retain their aroma and flavour for longer.

Quality from the organic farm

"We only process meat from rigorously controlled Austrian organic farms, because we care not only about canine welfare but also the welfare of all animals," adds Katharina Miklauz. This quality level guarantees that the meat that is processed originates from biologically species-specific husbandry, which goes well beyond the normal requirements. She highlights the proportion of meat, which is between 85 and 99 per cent depending on type.
"A special production process not only gives the treats a particularly intensive aroma, but also permits an entirely natural, long shelf life without the use of artificial additives," Katharina Miklauz emphasises. The handy treat size, from small pieces up to the size of a Thaler, also makes them suitable as a practical yet healthy reward for play and training purposes. The single-protein, grain-free treats have no adverse effects on the dog's constitution and are thus also ideal for sensitive canines. They contain no artificial aromas or attractants.
