Today Bethowen is the market leader with more than 110 pet stores in Russia. 100 of them are located in Moscow and the others in regional urban centres. Bethowen also operates its own online store, featuring a wide assortment of products for each pet category. 18 private label brands, which are manufactured entirely at leading European factories, have been added to the company's portfolio. In August, George Chkareuli was appointed as the new CEO of Bethowen, having worked for the past ten years as the company's CFO. He holds an MBA from Emory University (USA) and has an honours degree in theoretical physics from the Tbilisi State University in Georgia.
