Pet trade show in Wrocław

According to the organiser, the Wigor Agency, Zoo-Botanica is the most important zoo­logical-botan­ical trade event in Poland. This dynami­cally developing fair and exhibition dating back ten years creates a unique venue for meetings, for an exchange of experience between professionals and hobbyists, and for presenting new trends and pro­ducts as well as for direct contact with customers, say the organisers. The 10th jubilee edition of Zoo-Botanica attracted almost 160 exhibitors, among them leading Polish companies, and over 15 000 visitors. “Effective business tool” The organisers are expecting to welcome the most important Polish companies, associations and fans of flora and fauna to the Centennial Hall in Wrocław this year too. “Zoo Botanica is an effective business tool that makes it possible to reach new contractors and customers with interest in this particular field,” they assert, referring also to the extensive range of multi-channel advertising campaigns and the professional customer service. An accompanying programme of events offers visitors many interesting and educational features, including a veterinary panel, promotions of nutrition and care pro­ducts for pets, lectures and seminars by professionals for professionals and numerous attractions and contests. Something for all pet categories In the aquatics segment, the show features open shrimp championships, an aquarium exhibition with a nationwide competition for the most interesting aquarium and a Tanganyika Lake exhibition. Fans of reptiles and amphibians should also get their money’s worth: a terrarium exhibition is planned, with a nationwide competition for the most interesting terrarium. Shows of pedigree cats and shows of training and agility of pedigree dogs, dog therapy, a dog fashion show, grooming shows and gadgets for cats and dogs should appeal to dog and cat enthusiasts. A competition is also to be held for the nicest mixed breeds of dogs and cats. For rodent enthusiasts, there’s a national exhibition of ferrets, an exhibition of purebred mice, an exhibition of purebred guinea pigs and rats and a hamster show, plus a contest for the best hamster. Plant lovers will also find things to interest them at Zoo-Botanica, with a bonsai exhibition, an exhibition of carniv­orous plants and orchids and an exhibition of professional garden arrangements.
