How have your sales volume and turnover in respect of cat litter developed in the first eight months of the year?Which of your products is in particular demand? In which countries have you been particularly successful or less successful in recent months?Do you intend to introduce new products in the next few months? What products?Korodur International, GermanyIn the first eight months of 2010 we succeeded in increasing volume by 10 per cent and sales by 8 per cent. Our medium-priced segment, products made from grey bentonite in a standard grain size of 0.8 to 5 mm, has developed satisfactorily to very well. The natural white premium clumping litter exhibited at Interzoo, "Compact Light, grain size 0.5 - 3.0 mm" and "Super Ultra Fresh Fragrance, grain size 0.5 - 1.8 mm" have shown above-average growth. We are naturally most successful in Germany, followed by France, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia. The trend in England, Spain, Italy and northern Europe (Scandinavia) has been less successful on account of the high logistics costs. In the next few months we will be developing the quality para-meters of our existing products further. We aim to introduce new, innovative products in 2011.Tekstilna Tovarna Okroglica, SloveniaIn 2010 we have been selling our new, patented product "Cattex", an absorbent pad for cat trays, in our domestic market in Slovenia. Reducing unpleasant odours caused by cat urine is one of the most important functions of "Cattex".As we were exhibitors at Interzoo 2010, we achieved worldwide representation for our new product. We are planning to enter some of the biggest EU markets such as Germany, France and Benelux by the end of 2010. Right now we are looking for trade representatives. Our R & D department is developing new absorbent pads for mammals, but they will not be launched before the end of 2010.Tolsa S.A., SpainWe are witnessing very interesting growth of premium and super-premium products in mature markets and an overall increase in demand in the new emerging markets.Products in demand are those that deliver convenience for consumers in terms of hygiene, odour neutralisation and weekly…
