A large proportion of exhibitors have already registered their participation in the anniversary Interzoo: "Even now, ten months in advance of the fair opening, more than 85 per cent of the stand space of the last Interzoo 2006 is already reserved. A host of new exhibitors and increased stand areas have also been registered," says Hans-Jochen Büngener, chairman of the Interzoo fair committee. The fair organiser, the Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe GmbH (WZF), is thus expecting over 1 200 exhibiting companies at Interzoo 2008 once again, representing the entire range that the global pet sector has to offer: "For the 2008 event we have reserved a gross exhibition area of around 86 000 m². Exhibition hall 4A, with a direct link to the East entrance, is new and will offer our show visitors a perfect circular tour," explains WZF managing director Herbert Bollhöfer.
