Dibaq launches a new brand identity

Last year international manufacturer Dibaq set up a subsidiary in Mexico and started introducing its products into Asia. Now the Spanish group has launched a new brand identity in order to empower Dibaq for the future

Since 1987 Dibaq has been the only Spanish international manufacturer and distributor of natural animal nutrition. The group manufactures wholesome and natural complete nutrition and has integrated 25 companies, more than 1 100 employees, manufacturing centres and logistics facilities supplying key markets worldwide into its operation. Dibaq manufactures a wide range of nutritional products for livestock and pets in micronised, extruded and granulated form. The aquaculture business unit specialises in the development of foodstuffs for Mediterranean fish farming (species such as gilthead sea bream, sea bass, trout, sole, salmon, eel or tilapia). The Spanish company is also an expert in special animal nutrition, vitamin-mineral premixes, immunological boosters and dehydrated milk substitutes.The group owns manufacturing plants with next-generation technologies and has professionals specialising in research and development, the production of feed for livestock and wet and dry food for pets.Based in Fuentepelayo in the north of Segovia and run by the Tejedor family, the Dibaq Group is structured as follows:In Fuentepelayo, Dibaq has factories specialising in aquaculture nutrition (new factory opened in 2001), pet nutrition and the production of special nutritional products for pets. Dibaq also owns 80 per cent of Dibaq-Nutripet S.L., which specialises in the production of wet food for pets.In Olombrada, in the north of Segovia, the group manufactures feed for livestock, vitamin-mineral premixes, immunological boosters and dehydrated milk substitutes.Outside Spain, Dibaq owns 100 per cent of Dibaq Italy in Ancona, Italy, which is responsible for distributing aquaculture nutrition. The group also owns 50 per cent of Dibaq Chequia, located in Helvikovice (Zamberk) in the Czech Republic, where there are several factories dedicated to the production of dry food and special nutritional pro-ducts for pets, dehydrated milk substitutes for piglets and equine nutrition products. Dibaq Poland, Fytena (Slovakia) and Dibaq Greece are also wholly-owned subsidiaries.The international group division responsible for exports (undertaken through Nutrición-Dicor) and subsidiaries abroad is integrated into Dibaq Internacional Filial S.L.
