Successful event in the Netherlands

“It was once again a successful event, for visitors as well as the more than 90 exhibitors”, the official closing report of the organiser concluded. “The exhibition offers a total picture of everything available in the pet products, pet care and aquarium products industry.” The new admission policy focused on the concept of invitations extended to business owners (with or without spouse or partner).
The Dibevo Vakbeurs is the only pet product trade show in Holland.
The organisers dared to try a new approach with their idea of “eating, drinking and doing business”. Visitors paid a one-off fee for admission and were then able to eat and drink at no additional charge at the various catering locations throughout the exhibition facility. The exhibition was also made easy for the exhibitor: companies received their food and beverages delivered to their stands. Thanks to the implementation of this concept, the objective of the exhibition was achieved: visitors did not have to pay anything extra for refreshments over and above the admission fee, and exhibitors could spend their time efficiently doing business. A large number of exhibitors accepted the new provision concept with gratitude, although several complained that they had to pay for the service even if they did not wish to take advantage of it.

The Dibevo Vakbeurs is an annual event that gives suppliers of pet products, pet care and aquarium products the chance to exhibit their products and services to the thousands of retailers who visit the exhibition. Organised by the Dibevo National Trade Organisation, the Dibevo Vakbeurs is the only event in the Netherlands staged for this industry sector. Next year, the Dibevo Vakbeurs will be held on 9-11 October in the Evenementenhal in Hardenberg, half-way between Apeldoorn and Groningen and directly on the German border. “It appears that with each new edition of the Vakbeurs there are new companies who are interested in introducing themselves and their products or services to the market. This is yet another good reason to visit this type of event”, stated the organiser in conclusion.
