A natural trend creating a natural demand
Hill’s Pet Nutrition launches new “Hill’s Science Plan Nature’s Best”. The new range is made from natural ingredients with added vitamins, minerals and nutrients and ensures the pet receives all the benefits of superior nutrition it is accustomed to from Hill’s products. The kibbles are uniquely shaped and coloured and naturally preserved with rosemary and vitamin E for freshness and great taste. The range consists of four new products: “Mini/Medium Puppy” and “Mini/Medium Adult” as well as “Large/Giant Puppy” and “Large/Giant Adult.”
New varieties
Canadian company Hagen, of Montreal, has optimised the recipes in its “Nutrience“ range to take account of the latest research findings with regard to canine nutrition. The company says it plans to introduce new varieties as well as optimising the assortment and improving product appearance. Thus a new, extended puppy range is to be introduced that will set new standards in puppy nutrition. Large chunks for big dogs already exist in the form of “Nutrience Denta Crunch”, which promotes the dog’s chewing action and prevents it from gulping the food whole. “Denta Crunch” will also be available in the “Nutrience Derma” (lamb and rice) variety.
Premium line relaunched
Bosch Tiernahrung, Blaufelden, has relaunched its premium dog food line. The company says that the new functional design features a clear colour coding system that gives the customer optimum guidance on the range. All products have been enhanced by the use of high-quality ingredients. New varieties have also been added to the range: “Adult Maxi“ (picture) is for fully grown dogs of large and giant breeds, “Adult Menu“ is a modern dinner product with a moderate flake content for fully grown dogs and “Light“ aims to achieve sustained weight reduction in overweight dogs. Bosch Tiernahrung’s products are available in 1 and 3 kg (2.5 kg) pack sizes and also 12.5 and 15 kg.
Food for every day
The Czech company Vafo, of Prague, was established in 1994 and markets two premium food ranges, “Vafo“ and “Brit“.  “Brit“ is said to be characterised by a balanced composition, high digestibility and a very high level of acceptance. It is manufactured from carefully selected raw animal and vegetable materials. The production method, utilising fresh poultry, gives the product its characteristic flavour. “Brit“ contains the ““ActiVit“ complex of vitamins, minerals and other biologically active substances.
