The success of the Dibaq Group is based on three fundamentals: pet business, aquaculture and feed for working animals. The pet business accounts for 40 per cent of Dibaq’s total sales. The company manufactures wet and dry food in an ultra-modern production plant situated roughly 100 km from Madrid, turning out approx. 6 000 tonnes of animal feed per month, which is marketed under various brand names both in grocery stores and in specialist outlets. In the pet trade, Dibaq markets the “Dican” and “Dicat” premium brands. Its product assortment includes dog and cat accessories such as collars, leads, toys and bedding. The company also produces food for cage birds and pigeons, horses, reptiles and ornamental fish.

Exports account for 20 per cent of total pet product sales, Portugal, Greece, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Ukraine being among the principal importers of Dibaq products. Export manager Fernando Garcia Sanchez believes that Dibaq will strengthen its position in Eastern Europe in the next few years. The takeover of Czech pet food manufacturer Fitmin two years ago has given Dibaq a further production plant for pet food and a number of well-known, high-quality brands that already enjoy extensive popularity in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. Expansion into other countries is also planned.
Dibaq attaches great importance to complete quality control.
