Arken Zoo expands with Härnösand store

Arken Zoo is continuing its expansion in Sweden with the opening of a new store in Härnösand on 12 November, according to a press statement by the company. Located at Kaptensgatan 6B, next to ICA Maxi, the new outlet will offer a wide range of products for dogs, cats and small animals, expanding the retailer’s presence in the region.

The location has been chosen for its accessibility and proximity to established retail operations. With good transport links, ample parking and other shops nearby, Arken Zoo aims to establish the store as a convenient shopping destination for pet owners throughout the Härnösand area.

“We are delighted to be opening in Härnösand and becoming part of the local pet community. For us, it is about more than simply selling products. We want to help pets stay healthy and happy while making everyday life easier and more enjoyable for everyone who loves animals as much as we do,” said Tobias Lindqvist, Area Sales Manager at Arken Zoo in the press statement.

The new store will be managed by Anastasia Stener, who most recently worked at Arken Zoo Birsta in Sundsvall. The team will also include Jeanette Åsén, who has run a local pet shop in Härnösand for many years.

To mark the launch, Arken Zoo is planning four days of opening celebrations from 12 to 15 November. The programme will include competitions, goodie bags and special offers designed to attract customers to the new location and introduce them to the product range.

“We are looking forward to meeting lots of new customers and their wonderful pets. The sound of paws on the shop floor is one of our favourite things, and we cannot wait to welcome all the pet lovers of Härnösand to our new store,” said Lindqvist.
