Vets for Pets holds Vets Conference

UK veterinary group Vets for Pets brought together practice owners, practice colleagues and support office teams at the Birmingham International Conference Centre for its Vets Conference 2026. Delegates heard from senior leaders including CEO James Bailey, CFO Sarah Pollard and Vets for Pets managing director Richard Dening-Smitherman, who covered strategy, performance, innovation and clinical care.

A supplier showcase led by headline sponsor Idexx presented recent developments in veterinary products and services. British astronaut Tim Peake, the first Briton to visit the International Space Station, delivered the keynote, speaking on overcoming challenges, building resilience and working at the cutting edge of technology.

The group also handed out awards across its network. Practice of the Year went to Basildon Pitsea, while Jake Koopman (Gloucester) was named Practice Owner of the Year…
