Petzoo Africa returns to Cairo for its second edition

The pet industry's African trade platform continues with Petzoo Africa, taking place 21–23 April 2027 at the Cairo International Convention Center. Organised by Alwassal Exhibitions Organization, the show follows its debut edition held in Egypt in 2025 and positions itself as the largest pet trade gathering on the continent, connecting brands with distributors, importers and retail buyers across Africa's fast-growing market.

Organisers point to the scale of the opportunity: the African pet market is projected to reach around $1.5 billion in the near future, growing at 8.5% CAGR — well above the global average. The show expects 10,000+ professional visitors from more than 50 countries, with strong representation from South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Egypt.
