Registration has opened for the second Cat Behaviour Conference, held online on Saturday 3 October from 9:00am to 6:00pm BST. The full-day event is aimed at cat professionals, veterinary teams, rescue volunteers, students and cat guardians worldwide, offering expert-led sessions on feline behaviour, welfare and veterinary medicine alongside live Q&A and networking.
Founded by feline behaviourists Claire Stares and Lisa Sinnott – both graduates of the University of Edinburgh's Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies – the conference aims to make evidence-based education more accessible. This year's line-up includes veterinary psychiatrist Dr Katrin Jahn on feline urination problems, ethologist Dr Karolina Westlund, cat behaviour consultant Dr Mikel Delgado on play and enrichment, and Professor Danielle Gunn-Moore OBE on stress and feline idiopathic cystitis, among others.
All sessions will be recorded for catch-up for those who register by 3 October. Tickets cost £35, with registration and full programme details at catbehaviourconference.com.
