The winners have been chosen

The pet retail has decided: in the vote on the pet and PET worldwide websites, which ended a few days ago, the following Products of the Year 2025/2026 were chosen:

· in the dog food category: ‘Primox Monoprotein’ by Stroetmann Tiernahrung;

· in the cat food category: ‘Primox Katzenfutter’ by Stroetmann Tiernahrung;

· in the dog and cat accessories category: ‘Origami Hundebox’ by 1one1;

· in the small animal/fish/birds category: ‘Igel-Schmaus’ by JR Farm.

As in the previous year, there was a double win in the most sought-after categories. In the dog and cat accessories category, there was an exciting neck-and-neck race, whilst the decision in the small pet category was quite clear-cut this time. Around 300 participants from the German and international pet trade took part in the vote. There were around 30 products to choose from, with many well-known manufacturers vying for the votes of specialist retailers.

All winners will receive a certificate and an award; the winners will also be featured in a company profile in the specialist magazines published by Dähne Verlag.
