ADM launches joint health postbiotic

ADM has expanded its Priome postbiotics range with a new addition targeting joint health in pets. According to a press release, Priome Joint Health, based on heat-treated Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus NCIMB 30446, is designed to support joint function, cartilage health, collagen production, muscle maintenance, gut barrier function, and weight management.

The launch draws on growing scientific interest in the gut-joint axis ‒ the relationship between gut microbiome balance and joint health, the release states. An imbalanced microbiome can increase intestinal permeability, allowing microbial compounds to enter systemic circulation and potentially trigger physiological responses linked to joint deterioration.
