A new concept event connecting pet wellbeing with aesthetic and functional design is set to make its debut in Milan this spring. The Pet Design District will take place from 20-26 April 2026 at GreenHub, an advertising and communication agency located on Via Feltre in the city's Lambrate district, according to a press statement.
The event will be hosted in a modern industrial-chic hangar offering 1,000 square metres of space dedicated to the visibility of brands and design companies. Alongside open-plan areas and a relaxation zone, the venue will feature a stage for talks with leading industry guests, presentations, and educational sessions. Private B2B meeting rooms and dedicated spaces for pet and owner photo shoots will also be available, while the outdoor area will host open-air aperitifs with music throughout the week.
A meeting point for stakeholders in the pet sector
‘During the design week, the area will see the passage of Italian and international industry professionals, product designers, architects and interior designers, as well as buyers, distributors, and retailers, who will find in the Pet Design District a meeting point for exchange and dialogue within the pet sector,’ say founders Luca Carminati and Marco Corbani.
Co-curator Amelia Valletta, founder of The HAD Human Animal Design, adds: ‘Visitors will find established brands as well as startups developing design solutions for indoor and outdoor spaces, accessories, and habitats for pets. Our vision is guided by three key principles: animals' ethological wellbeing, the positive orientation of the human-pet relationship, and sustainability ‒ trends that will allow the furnishing sector to grow further within the pet economy.’ The full list of participating brands and event calendar will be published at https://petdesigndistrict.it/
