Global Pet Expo 2026 set to draw 20,000 visitors

The Global Pet Expo returns to the United States on 25 March for a three-day event. According to a press release, the trade fair will feature an expanded line-up of new product launches, keynote speakers, and networking opportunities for professionals from across the sector. Presented by the American Pet Products Association (APPA) and the Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA), Global Pet Expo takes place at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida, bringing together more than 20,000 pet industry professionals and nearly 1,000 exhibiting brands.

Among the most closely watched features is the New Products Showcase, a 45,000-square-foot dedicated space on the show floor where exhibitors debut their latest innovations. The showcase attracts 93 per cent of all attendees and serves as the hub for sourcing new products, with entries also automatically eligible for the prestigious Best in Show Awards.

One of this year's headline appearances comes from the world of dog training. Emmy Award-winning television presenter and bestselling author Brandon McMillan will appear daily at Booth #1419, where he will deliver two live training demonstrations — including a keynote address at the Pet Summit on 25 March — and unveil a new collection of professional dog training tools, which was designed to bring professional-level training techniques within reach of general pet owners for the first time, according to the release. Select attendees may even have the opportunity to see their own dogs work with McMillan live on stage.
