Ökocat announced in a press release the winners of its annual Ökocause4paws program, which invites the public to nominate their favorite small cat rescue organizations and animal shelters to receive a donation of Ökocat's eco-friendly cat litter. As an added bonus, cat adopters from each winning shelter will receive a voucher that can be exchanged for a free bag.
This year's winners are:
• Bronx Community Cats – New York City
• Community Cat Club – Mount Ephraim, New Jersey
• Camrose Animal Alliance Rescue Society – Camrose, Alberta (Canada)
• SOS Prairie Rescue – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (Canada)
• Furry Friends of Barrie Ontario – Barrie, Ontario (Canada)
• Abby Cat Daddy – Abbotsford, British Columbia (Canada)
By targeting smaller rescue organizations, Ökocat is helping to deliver essential supplies to organizations that often operate with limited financial resources and support.
Leslie Ellis, Consumer Communications and Advertising Manager at Ökocat, explains: ‘Since 2018, we have donated more than 63,000 pounds of natural litter through the Ökocause4paws program, and we are honored to continue this work with this year's selected shelters.‘
