In a bid to strengthen its position as the UK's only discount retailer for pet supplies with permanently low prices, Jollyes is cutting over 600 prices. The company has announced that prices ending in seven or nine are to be eliminated. Jollyes has also confirmed the nationwide launch of its ‘Zoomies’ pilot project, a delivery service in collaboration with Uber Eats.
Following its decision at the beginning of the year to reduce the prices of two-thirds of its products, Jollyes is making another significant investment in its pricing strategy, further strengthening its reputation as the UK's only 'everyday low price' specialist retailer of pet supplies. Over 600 Jollyes prices will become clearer and simpler, ending in zero or five.
Jollyes is also launching its partnership with Uber Eats nationwide. Last month, the company began trialling its ‘Zoomies’ service, which allowed pet owners in 13 locations to order items ranging from dry food to catnip within minutes. According to Jollyes, the new service accounted for almost 10 per cent of all online orders within a few weeks at a handful of locations. The delivery service is now available at all but five of Jollyes's more than 100 stores across the UK.
