IQI aims for growth with Jessica Beißmann

IQI Trusted Petfood Ingredients, a global supplier of high-quality ingredients for the pet food industry, announces the appointment of Jessica Beißmann as sales manager. Beißmann joined IQI on 1 August, the Amersfoort, Netherlands-based company said in a press release: “Her appointment underscores IQI's growth and ambition to strengthen its presence in the European pet food market, particularly in German-speaking countries.”

Beißmann brings a solid track record in sales and animal nutrition, built up over more than a decade of experience. “Jessica has extensive market knowledge, a keen sense of customer needs and a wealth of experience in animal nutrition in Germany and the surrounding regions,”’ explains Arjan van Waes, CEO of IQI.

The sales manager is enthusiastic about her new role. Healthy nutrition has always played an important role for her, “because nutrition is the key to health and performance – for humans as well as animals.”

As part of the OSI Group, IQI has access to a vertically integrated supply chain for beef and poultry products with over 50 production facilities in 20 countries. Thanks to this access, IQI can draw on a pool of its own raw materials and products, becoming part of the OSI network with hundreds of suppliers and customers. Some concepts, such as bacon fat and beef MDM, have already been introduced. Further innovative concepts will follow shortly, according to the company.
