Petissimo and Fressnapf among the Top online retailers

Petissimo and Fressnapf made it into the Top 12 companies of FMCG retailers.This year 12 companies made it on to the list of the largest online FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) retailers in Hungary of PwC, a leading audit and advisory firm; two specialty retailers for pet food and supplies, Petissimo and Fressnapf, are new on the list. PwC Hungary’s Digital Commerce team (formerly GKID) has published annual rankings of the top online retailers by turnover in the Hungarian market since 2015. The most successful companies in the 2024 top list were featured in four categories at an event held in PwC’s Budapest office.

Petissimo is a fast-growing international online shop based in Budapest. It came in eleventh place, ahead of Fressnapf.

“We are among the TOP online retailers in Hungary within the FMCG category!” Fressnapf announced via LinkedIn. “Our online journey started during the pandemics with a basic shop that we could set up quickly. Now we have a great, customer friendly solution that we develop intensively in order to become a truly excellent omnichannel retailer.” PwC confirms that Fressnapf is on the right track.
