The newly appointed President of Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Hsu, has just today received the 2025 “Pet CEO of the Year” by the 7th Annual Pet Innovation Awards. This award is a true testament to Yvonne, and how she is redefining what it means to lead with purpose in the rapidly evolving world of pet health.

Hsu’s career journey is an example of the power of merging professional expertise with personal passion. Starting her career at Colgate-Palmolive, she gained experience across roles in marketing, innovation, and business leadership. But her deep connection to animals and commitment to pet welfare eventually led her to Hill’s Pet Nutrition.

“Now as President, Hsu is leading Hill’s into a new era of innovation, sustainability, and global impact,” the company says in a media release. “Her leadership style, rooted in empathy and authenticity, reflects her personal experiences as a working mom and pet parent.” According to Hill’s, she has a clear vision for the company’s future, focusing on advancing science-backed nutrition, scaling sustainability efforts, and deepening partnerships with veterinarians.

This year, Yvonne has already made waves with two standout initiatives:

The campaign Because You’re Only Human (BYOH) celebrates the bond between pets and their families while addressing pet parent guilt. And ActivBiome Multi-Benefit Technology: A decade of microbiome research culminated in upgraded Science Diet formulas that meet both the scientific and emotional needs of pet parents.

Beyond these innovations, Yvonne is passionate about mentorship and creating opportunities for others, particularly women in the pet industry. She also continues to champion Hill’s Food Shelter & Love program, which has helped over 15 million shelter pets find homes.
