Due to the relaunch and the use of the new logo on all advertising materials, numerous trade fair banners have been discarded at Trixie. However, these were not disposed of, but upcycled into bags and backpacks by Mürwiker Werkstätten, a workshop for people with disabilities. A dog's ear here, a rabbit's nose there, pieces of fur, grass, the logo or buildings – the bags are all unique and each one is more exciting than the last.
They were sold to employees and customers at the Trixie in-house exhibition, who responded enthusiastically to the campaign. The proceeds of 1,857 Euros went to Meer Leben. The association provides surf therapy and swimming lessons for children with cancer on Sylt.
