At the general meeting of the Lagerhaus cooperative in Korneuburg and the surrounding area on 17 June, chairman Johann Hendler presented the results for the 2024 financial year. Despite a slight decline in sales of just under 5 per cent to 89.1 million euros in 2024, the Lagerhaus cooperative was able to generate solid results and get important projects off the ground.
In his report, Managing Director Leopold Scheibböck presented a number of future-oriented projects. Among other things, the focus is on the continuous development of the home and garden locations.
In a guest presentation, Johann Oberger, Head of Technology at RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria, reported on the challenges of the past financial year. Following the repurchase of the shares previously held by BayWa AG, RWA is now once again wholly owned by Austrian interests: ‘This is the result of a successful collaboration between RWA and the warehouse cooperatives,’ said Oberger. During the general meeting, Michael Niedermayer and Heinrich Fischer were also honoured in recognition of their many years of service as officials.
