The pet food company Qru, which produces Barf for dogs and cats, has received the “Made in France” Award by L-Impact. The Barf specialist from Grenoble, which locally produces meals for dogs and cats from pure French meat, offers retailers wishing to include Qru in their product range a number of services. These services include staff training to maximise sales, planning of sales events and an informative POS, among others.
Pet owners can complete a questionnaire online and receive personalised recommendations on the type and quantity of food adequate for their pet. Qru also offers as a subscription model.
L-Impact is a collective of women and men working together for a more efficient and equal society. As companies founded by women today receive on average only a quarter of the funding that companies run by men obtain, L-Impact offers start-ups founded by women support in raising capital, arranges contacts with private investors, organises mentoring and coaching sessions as well as events.
One of these events took place on 17 June in Paris: 15 selected start-ups had the opportunity to pitch in front of more than 200 decision-makers from the business world. Here, Qru-founder Estelle Evieux was one of six female founders to accept an award on behalf of their company.
