Through the Trixie Ventures initiative, Trixie brings creative and progressive start-ups, inventors, and innovators together with the pet industry and retailers to realise joint projects. In the second round, numerous promising start-ups once again submitted their ideas. The jury was particularly impressed by the ‘Pets-Kitchen’ concept, which encourages people to discover the fun of baking for dogs and humans.
The founder, Katharina Raida, is a certified dog nutritionist and has developed baking mixes for celebration cakes, pup cakes and pup bites. These are made from high-quality ingredients such as oats, psyllium husks and goat's milk, and contain no wheat or added sugar. The cakes and biscuits are easy for dogs to digest and do not produce a strong smell when baked.
The winner will receive the Trixie Ventures Award and have the opportunity to present their product at the in-house exhibition at the end of June. Pets-Kitchen products will also be featured in a joint exhibition package. pet featured Pets-Kitchen in issue 3-2025.
