The German pet food manufacturer Allco Tiernahrung is to become Vafo.de. The Czech Vafo Group has acquired the remaining shares, making it the sole owner of the family-run company by the end of 2024. Allco has been part of the group since 2017 and will now become a wholly owned subsidiary and operate under the new company name Vafo.de.

"Germany is the most important market for us in Europe, in which we want to continue to invest and expand our market position. Thanks to the intensive work of Jörg Lefers and his team, we have achieved a very promising sales and market position," says Pavel Bouška, CEO of the Vafo Group. Jörg Lefers will remain at the helm of Vafo.de and will continue to manage the company with his team and sales director Carsten Weerts in the future.

"Following the completion of the takeover, the Vafo Group is planning strong expansion, intensive investments and further acquisitions in Germany," adds Pavel Bouška.
