Pet Family Group acquires Astrapet

The UK retail group Pet Family has acquired the Astrapet chain of shops.

Established 30 years ago as a small retail business, Astrapet has since evolved into a respected, award-winning chain with an impressive portfolio of Natural World Pets branches in Leicester and Northampton along with K9 by Natural World stores in Newark and Northamptonshire.

Following the takeover by the Pet Family Group, the Astrapet stores will continue to be operated under their current logos, according to the company. The acquisition means that the Pet Family Group now has 151 pet stores, 40 grooming salons and a veterinary centre.
