With overall sales of 262.33 million euros, Fressnapf Austria achieved growth of 11 per cent and 25 million euros last year as compared with 2021. Although its growth is likely to have been much lower when adjusted for inflation, the figures are still significantly above the average for the sector.

Growth in high street stores came to 9 per cent, while its online channel proved the growth driver with sales up by more than 40 per cent or 7.5 million euros compared with the previous year.

Fressnapf’s 16 own brands, accounting for a 53 per cent share of the assortment, were responsible for a substantial portion of the rise in sales. In 2022, they generated total sales of 140 million euros, up 9 per cent over the previous year.
