PetSmart opens first veterinary hospital

PetSmart Veterinary Services (PVS) has announced the opening of its first veterinary hospital in Arizona following the recent launch of a new, independent franchise business ownership model. PVS anticipates the opening of several veterinary hospitals over the next few months in Florida, Pennsylvania and Texas.

Through PVS, veterinarians open their own franchised practice, making it possible to operate an independent business at a fraction of the cost of starting a new practice alone.
