L Catterton invests in Enova Pet Products

L Catterton, a consumer-focused private equity firm, has announced that it has invested in Shanghai Enova Pet Products, the owner of Pure & Natural, a domestic premium pet food brand in China. This marks L Catterton's foray into China's pet food market, leveraging the firm's global experience in the sector and capabilities in building enduring brands.
Shanghai Enova Pet Products is a leading pet food company in China and was established in 2009, according to L Catterton. The pet food company has utilised scientific research and cutting-edge technology over the years to develop innovative and premium pet food with patented formulae.
With more than 30 bn dollars of equity capital across its fund strategies and 17 offices around the world, L Catterton regards itself as the largest global consumer-focused private equity firm. Since 1989, the firm has made approximately 250 investments in consumer businesses.
